The Precious Penguins

So far, this summer has been such an adventure with this group of girls. They have participated in everything from canoeing to playing ships and sailors. Throughout the first session, many of the girls have achieved great things and have had a blast accomplishing them. Gabby and Olivia D. show their great sportsmanship whenever we play battle ball against the Starfish. They are always two of the first to get the game going. Jala and Bobbie loved the field trip to the Alligator Ranch, getting to play with the babies was such a treat! Morgan and Kate enjoyed showing off their amazing skills at Airline Skate Center … they looked like true naturals out on the floor. Sarah and Cameron have done amazing with biking, zipping around the soccer field so fast that it’s hard to keep up with them. While playing basketball with the Athletics group, Sam and Nicole show their athleticism and eagerness to learn some new dribbling skills. Amelia and Adele are like fish in the water when it comes to swimming - you can always count on them to be splashing around and having the time of their lives! Olivia G. and Abigail thoroughly enjoyed the Glitter and Gold show that the group attended; they danced and sang the entire show. Caroline S. and Tyla love to participate in Arts and Crafts, and the whole group loves to see their amazing artistic ability. Sidonie and Sadie were extremely interested when the group attended Wings of a Feather; these two girls are always trying to learn something new. Angel and Caroline T. are like Venus and Serena Williams when it comes to tennis, always showing off their new skills and teaching the other girls. Jada, Ariel, and Macke love singing along and playing the instruments when we attend music. It has been a real pleasure having this group of girls in the Penguins this session. For the girls that will not be returning, we will miss you and we hope that you have a great rest of the summer. For the Penguins that will be staying for the second session, we cannot wait to have another amazing month with you girls! We love you!
