"Ripples 2010.....the Ripples experience for this season will be the best children's programming ever brought to this area. Last summer was full of amazing life changing experiences for the hundreds of campers, their parents and staff involved during our 9 week programming. Some changes were made in 4 weeks, some in 8 weeks and some made in one week during Travel Week....the residual effects of instilled confidence within our campers and staff begins to build upon the foundation of memories for all of us. We are very proud and honored to be part of your children's lives."

The Department of Campus Recreation is proud to present the 20th edition of the #1 Nationally Accredited Summer Day Camp in the greater New Orleans area as recognized by the American Camping Association. Our progressive heartfelt programming features mature, certified and seasoned staff, most of which hold accredited teaching credentials.

Ripples provides children with a "World of Good!" through a varied and structured schedule of age appropriate cultural, social, artistic and physically challenging daily activities. In addition to traditional sports; cooking, Red Cross Swim Instruction, weekly field trips, theme days, cycling, gymnastics aerobic training, archery racquetball, tennis, canoeing, horseback riding, rock-climbing, drama, arts and crafts and professional in-house performances are all part of our daily ingredients.

Our professional staff will instill confidence and enhanced self-esteem through our camps' character education program and specialized programs such as our sport specific "Mini-Camps", Ripples Color War, Carnival, Game Shows, and the culminating Musical Theatre Performance which every child has the opportunity to participate in.

Each monthly session culminates with a life enhancing out-of-state excursion for those campers enrolled in our teen/travel program. This program is for campers ages 12-14.

Specifics Children ages 4-14 are welcome to enroll. Our camper to staff ratio is a very safe and nurturing 5:1 with our oldest campers and our youngest campers featuring a 4:1 staff ratio. Camp begins at 9am and dismisses at 4pm daily. Before and After Care are available from 7:30am-5:30pm. Professionally catered and nutritionally balanced lunches and afternoon fresh fruit snacks are provided as part of our daily routine.
