Vehicle Rentals

Club Sports can reserve vehicles through the University Motor Pool or through off-campus vendors (Enterprise or Chartered Buses.)  There is also one 12-passenger van available for clubs that practice off-campus.

Club Sports Practice Van:

• The ACS Off-Campus Representative will put together a van practice schedule for the semester. Clubs should submit their requests for the practice van at the beginning of each semester.
• The ACS Practice Van is for local transportation within Orleans, Jefferson, and St. Tammany parishes. Clubs that require transportation beyond these parishes should receive special permission from the Club Sports Office and may also be charged an additional fee.
• No alcohol, tobacco or firearms are permitted in the vans. Furthermore, each club is responsible for cleaning the van after use.
• Drivers must abide by the Motor Pool Rules, including certified drivers.

USG/ASB Motor Pool:

• Requests are to be filled out 2 weeks prior to departure using the Vehicle Request Form. Late requests may be honored depending on vehicle availibility.
• If travelling out of state, a list of passengers must be turned in with the request form. Also, the Assistant Director of Club Sports must sign the request form.
• Vehicle requests are to be turned in to Adrien McElroy downstairs in the LBC.
• All clubs must follow ASB motor pool rules and regulations, including having enough certified drivers (copies of these rules are available in the ASB office).

Enterprise Vehicles:

• Drivers of Enterprise vehicles must be van certified through the University and at least 21 years old.
• For clubs to use their travel allocation, rentals must first be approved by the Assistant Director - Club Sports.
• Direct billing is possible for approved clubs.
