PILATES

Pilates trains several muscle groups at once in smooth, continuous movements. As a result, the body learns to move in safer, more efficient patterns. Pilates concentrates on the core body muscles and is great cross-training for all sports. Pilates creates flat abdominals, increases flexibility, improves posture, and is a refreshing mind-body workout. This class will incorprate equipment for a more challenging workout.

INTRO TO YOGA

The Intro to Yoga series offers a solid foundation upon which to skillfully build a strong, safe, and empowering yoga practice.  Through the emphasis placed on body alignment in the posses this yoga pratice can help dissolve muscular-skeletal imbalances. Various props, such as blocks, belts and blankets, enable each student to successfully and safely practice each pose. This experience will provide the confidence to explore any style of yoga.

ANUSARA:  ALIGN AND FLOW YOGA

This style of Hatha yoga playfully weaves together alignment and the biomechanics of the body.  With refined balanced action, we will increase the core strength in your body and find more freedom and ease in your mind and breath.  All levels welcome!

POWER YOGA

The active and precise interlinking of Yoga poses creates a dynamic flow of movement accompanied by deep breathing that develops strength, flexibility and concentration. This vigorous yoga practice will help create physical command and confidence by strengthening the muscles of the back and abdomen, and improve overall well being.
