Outdoor Adventures offers Tulane students a variety of outdoor escapes. We plan over a dozen trips each semester so that Tulane students can experience the unique outdoor opportunities available in the Gulf Coast region. Can’t make any of our trips this fall? We offer rentals and trip planning resources as well!

This year we will be hosting a gear sale!!
Join Outdoor Adventures as we sell off some of our used equipment. Tents, backpacks, stoves, and so much more. Whether you are a seasoned outdoors person or just looking for cheap gear to put in your hurricane box, there will be something for everyone. Items will be priced to sell! Come early for the best selection.

Due to limited space, we urge interested students to sign up as soon as possible. Once you have registered for a trip, you will receive information that will include the time and place of the pre-trip meeting (usually held the Wednesday evening at 5pm before the trip departs) as well as packing lists, activity descriptions, and useful phone numbers.
This year we are holding a Wilderness First Aid class through Wilderness Medical Associates.
The best and most comprehensive course of its kind to offer relevant and realistic first-aid training for seasonal outdoor activities or short term wilderness endeavors and pursuits. Wilderness First Aid is a two-day introduction to general medical concepts and basic life support skills. The course is taught by professional instructors with significant patient care and backcountry experience.
